This role is intentionally designed to develop high-potential professionals into successful outside sales leaders within the fuel, fleet, lubricant, DEF, and energy solutions industry. Through a structured development program, candidates will receive hands-on exposure to sales, operations, logistics, customer relationship management, and business development before managing their own territory and book of business.

- Train alongside established Sales Executives to understand Diesel Direct’s sales process, customer strategies, pricing structures, and operational capabilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers through regular communication and site visits
- Support Sales Executives with account management, customer onboarding, service reviews, and territory growth initiatives
- Prospect and identify new opportunities within existing accounts and target markets
- Collaborate with operations, logistics, dispatch, customer service, billing, and supply teams to ensure outstanding customer execution
- Assist with customer setup processes, tank placements, equipment coordination, route setup, and service implementation
- Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally while creating long-term customer loyalty
- Conduct goodwill visits and post-delivery follow-up communications to ensure exceptional customer experience
- Analyze accounts and identify opportunities to improve profitability, service efficiency, and share of wallet
- Develop business acumen and learn to position value-based solutions rather than competing solely on price
- Participate in structured coaching, sales meetings, role development, and performance reviews throughout the training program

- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, customer service, business development, athletics, military leadership, or another customer-facing role
- Experience in logistics, transportation, energy, industrial, or service industries is a plus but not required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms such as Salesforce
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally within assigned territory
