The Senior Member Marketing Manager will lead the strategy, development, and execution of member marketing initiatives that support client objectives and improve engagement outcomes. This role requires a balance of strategic consulting, market analysis, campaign planning, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure marketing programs are effective, scalable, and aligned with business priorities.
- Develop and evolve member marketing strategies that align with client goals, market trends, and member needs.
- Analyze healthcare, benefits, and B2B2C marketing trends, competitive activity, communication practices, and member engagement patterns to identify opportunities.
- Translate insights into actionable recommendations, messaging strategies, campaign plans, communication journeys, and engagement opportunities.
- Create strategic materials including playbooks, presentations, guidance documents, and recommendations for internal teams and clients.
- Serve as a trusted marketing advisor to clients and client-facing teams by understanding goals, communication challenges, member populations, and success metrics.
- Lead or support client discussions focused on marketing strategy, campaign optimization, communication best practices, and engagement improvements.
- Partner with Product, Client Success, Implementation, Marketing, Legal, and Operations teams to define scalable member marketing approaches.
- Translate product updates, service enhancements, and business priorities into effective member communication strategies.
- Develop campaign frameworks, templates, messaging resources, and enablement materials that support adoption and engagement.
- Determine opportunities for standardization, customization, and operational improvements across marketing programs.
- Monitor campaign performance, gather feedback, and recommend improvements based on measurable results.
- Maintain strong ownership, organization, and execution discipline across multiple initiatives and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is a strategic marketer with strong communication skills, client-facing experience, and the ability to transform business needs and audience insights into effective engagement strategies. They should be comfortable working across teams, managing complex projects, and improving marketing programs through data-driven decisions.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing communications, member marketing, customer engagement, lifecycle marketing, account-based marketing, or a related discipline.
- Experience developing and executing B2B2C marketing or communication programs.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with clients, business partners, or external stakeholders in a consultative role.
- Strong ability to translate business objectives, customer insights, and audience needs into marketing strategies and execution plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience creating presentations, strategic documents, recommendations, and client-facing materials.
- Strong project management capabilities with experience managing timelines, priorities, workflows, and stakeholder expectations.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, client success, implementation, legal, and operations.
- Ability to analyze campaign results, synthesize feedback, and recommend practical improvements.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, ownership, and sound judgment.
- Experience in healthcare, employee benefits, health plans, digital health, care advocacy, or related industries strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with marketing platforms, CRM systems, reporting tools, project management tools, and workflow technologies.
- Strong technical skills and comfort using Microsoft Office tools, video conferencing platforms, and digital collaboration tools.
