This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Salesforce Administrator, Federal based in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to support a mission-driven technology organization operating at the forefront of innovation and advanced computing.
As a Salesforce Administrator focused on federal operations, you will own the configuration, security, and performance of a critical Salesforce Government Cloud environment.
You will play a key role in ensuring compliance, data integrity, and operational efficiency within a highly regulated environment.
The position combines hands-on platform administration, stakeholder collaboration, and process improvement to support business growth.
You will partner with sales, operations, security, and IT teams to deliver scalable solutions and maintain audit readiness.
This is an impactful opportunity for a detail-oriented Salesforce expert who thrives in fast-moving, technically complex environments.

Accountabilities:

The Salesforce Administrator, Federal will be responsible for managing the health, security, and continuous improvement of a Salesforce Government Cloud platform supporting federal business operations. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to compliance requirements, and the ability to translate business needs into effective platform solutions.

  • Own the administration and governance of the Salesforce Government Cloud environment, ensuring proper configuration, segmentation, security, and compliance with federal requirements.
  • Manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, access controls, profiles, permission sets, roles, and licenses according to least-privilege standards.
  • Build and maintain Salesforce enhancements using declarative tools, including flows, validation rules, record types, page layouts, and dynamic forms.
  • Coordinate platform updates, integrations, managed-package changes, sandbox management, and release processes within regulated environments.
  • Design and maintain reports and dashboards that provide accurate visibility into sales activity, pipeline performance, and operational metrics.
  • Perform data quality management activities, including imports, deduplication, data integrity reviews, and ongoing platform maintenance.
  • Support Salesforce Shield capabilities, audit preparation, access reviews, and compliance evidence collection for frameworks such as FedRAMP, CMMC, and NIST 800-171.
  • Manage Salesforce request intake, prioritize issues, resolve platform challenges, and maintain service-level expectations.
  • Gather requirements from federal stakeholders, design solutions, and lead testing and user acceptance processes before deployment.
  • Maintain documentation, configuration standards, and operational procedures to ensure long-term platform scalability.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for federal Salesforce operations, partnering with security, IT, and compliance teams on data-handling requirements.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings extensive Salesforce administration experience, strong knowledge of security and compliance practices, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment. They should be comfortable managing complex systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • 7+ years of professional experience as a Salesforce Administrator or equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business, computer science, or a related field preferred.
  • Active Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM-201) with strong knowledge of Salesforce security models, flows, reporting, permissions, and configuration tools.
  • Hands-on experience administering Salesforce in regulated, compliance-focused, or government-related environments.
  • Must be a U.S. Person and able to meet requirements related to handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and working within Salesforce Government Cloud or FedRAMP environments.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data management, imports, reporting, dashboards, and deduplication processes.
  • Experience supporting audit requirements, access governance, and security controls.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience with Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Salesforce Shield, FedRAMP, CMMC, NIST 800-171, DFARS, ITAR/CUI, or government sales operations is a plus.
  • Experience with Revenue Cloud, CPQ, Agentforce, integrations, or high-growth technology environments is preferred.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary range of $128,445 - $183,450 USD depending on qualifications, experience, location, and internal equity.
  • Bonus and equity opportunities as part of the total compensation package.
  • Fully remote work flexibility within the United States.

  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching.
  • Unlimited paid time off and paid holidays.
  • Parental and adoption leave benefits.
