What We’re Looking For

Are you a licensed mental health professional who enjoys leading teams, solving problems, and making a meaningful difference in the community?

We’re looking for a CSP Clinical Coordinator to provide clinical leadership and day-to-day support to our Community Support Program (CSP). In this role, you’ll supervise and develop case managers, provide clinical guidance, respond to complex situations, and help ensure participants receive high-quality, person-centered care.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced clinician who wants to combine clinical leadership, staff development, community-based care, and hands-on problem solving.

What You Bring

  • Master’s degree in behavioral science or a related field.
  • Current Wisconsin license as a:
    • Psychologist
    • Marriage and Family Therapist
    • Professional Counselor
    • Clinical Social Worker
  • Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders.
  • Strong clinical assessment, crisis intervention, and de-escalation skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with staff, participants, families, and community partners.
  • Commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and ethical care.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a strong team leader.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and required auto insurance.
  • Ability to meet caregiver background check requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a clinical leader on the CSP team, you’ll:

  • Provide clinical supervision, coaching, and day-to-day leadership to CSP case managers.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, professional development, and staff performance.
  • Provide clinical and case management services as part of the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team.
  • Support referrals, assessments, treatment planning, participant admissions, and discharges.
  • Provide clinical guidance and hands-on support during participant crises.
  • Monitor documentation, assessments, treatment plans, and other requirements to support quality care, compliance, and appropriate billing.
  • Coordinate complex situations involving participants, families, healthcare providers, landlords, employers, and other community partners.
  • Collaborate with Milwaukee County Community Access to Recovery Services (CARS) and other community agencies.
  • Coordinate Chapter 51 commitment extensions and court-related responsibilities as needed.
  • Promote Evidence-Based Practices, Trauma-Informed Care, and ACT fidelity across the program.
  • Help create a supportive, accountable, and collaborative team culture.

What to Expect

This is a dynamic, hands-on leadership role where no two days are exactly alike. You’ll spend your time balancing clinical supervision, team leadership, participant support, crisis response, and community collaboration.

You can expect to:

  • Lead and mentor a team of dedicated case managers.
  • Work directly with participants and help staff navigate complex situations.
  • Spend time both in the office and in the community, including participant homes and community settings.
  • Partner with Milwaukee County and a variety of community providers and organizations.
  • Have opportunities to strengthen programs, develop staff, and make a meaningful impact on the people we serve.
  • Work approximately 40 hours per week, generally Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
  • Maintain some flexibility for occasional weekends, holidays, or after-hours hotline coverage based on program needs.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position combines office-based clinical and administrative work with community outreach, home visits, and meetings. The role requires the ability to navigate stairs and occasionally lift or carry up to 20 pounds when assisting participants.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.

Why Join Us?

At CBMHP, your work goes beyond a job description. You’ll have the opportunity to lead a team, support meaningful recovery, and help people build more stable and fulfilling lives in their communities.

If you’re a compassionate clinician who is ready to take the next step in your leadership career—and you enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment—we’d love to hear from you.
