Core Scheduling Specialist in West Plains, Missouri at Ozarks Healthcare

Core Scheduling Specialists are responsible for adhering to the mission and vision of Ozarks Health Care and for verifying pre-certifications and insurance eligibility. Schedulers are responsible for scheduling all patients for radiology appointments. By doing so, schedulers help to ensure that patients flow through the scheduling and registration systems quickly and effectively.

Authorization Specialist role is to validate insurance and obtain authorization to ensure the patient is taken care of in a timely manner.

High school diploma or equivalent. Associates and or additional college preferred. Work experience could be equivalent to college.

Understanding insurance is beneficial but not required.
