Job Description
The Sales Representative is responsible for driving new business acquisition, developing customer relationships, and closing sales opportunities for TRC. This role focuses heavily on outbound prospecting, lead follow-up, quote conversion, and customer retention. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, sales-driven, and excels at building relationships while managing the sales process from initial contact through payment and repeat business.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Generate new business through outbound prospecting and relationship development with repair facilities, dealerships, and other potential customers
- Answer incoming sales calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Gather vehicle and order information to generate accurate and competitive quotes
- Follow up on quotes and open opportunities to increase close ratio and drive revenue growth
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and account growth
- Maintain consistent outbound call activity to develop new accounts and reactivate inactive customers
- Log, track, and manage sales opportunities, customer activity, and follow-up within company systems
- Monitor work in progress and communicate proactively with customers to ensure satisfaction and timely completion
- Collect payments and coordinate payment terms with customers as needed
- Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure smooth order processing and customer experience
Preferred Education and Experience
Previous experience in sales, business development, or account management preferred
Proven experience prospecting, closing sales, and managing customer relationships is strongly preferred
Experience working in the automotive industry is a plus

Strong sales aptitude with confidence in prospecting, negotiating, and closing business
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and follow-up skills
Self-motivated with a competitive and goal-oriented mindset
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accurate data management
Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel
Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus
Comfortable working in a high-volume call environment with outbound sales expectations
