Bilingual Make Ready Crew Helpers in Richardson, Texas at Alden Short, Inc

IF YOU WANT TO START WORKING ASAP, are familiar with technologies including smart phones, email and smart phone apps, are a fast and efficient individual who takes pride in their work and meets all the requirements of the position, WE WANT TO TALK TO YOU!!We are needing two (2) Make Ready Crew Helpers to become a part of our Make Ready Crews! You will perform the renovation of our single-family homes which are located throughout the Dallas area (Mesquite, Balch Springs, Richardson, Garland, Pleasant Grove, Oak Cliff, Allen, DeSoto, etc.) as they become vacant under the guidance of a Crew Leader as well as our Dir. of Field Operations. We strive to provide a superior product with high quality materials (either stocked in our warehouse or for purchase at Home Depot) and are looking to add dependable, forward-thinking individuals to our team.
Responsibilities:

• Meet job completion deadlines while maintaining superior quality of work.
• Manage time spent on tasks/steps to increase efficiency.
• Have experience/know how to do the following (plus more): Sub-floor, Flooring/Tile, Minor Plumbing, Minor Electrical, Siding, Framing, Sheetrock/Tape & Bed, Painting, Fencing
• Must have your own tools to perform the above work; insure correct tools are used for each task and any borrowed Company tools are properly maintained and cared for.
• Must own a reliable Truck or SUV for transporting material/waste.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Must own a smart phone (iOS 9.0 or above, Android Version 7 or higher) for BuilderTrend time tracking system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years previous experience in construction, maintenance or other related fields.
• Familiarity with construction & maintenance tools and equipment.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Ability to work well in teams.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
