Position Information
The Men's Head Baseball Coach will be a positive, energetic leader with the ability to teach, motivate, and recruit student-athletes. The head coach is primarily responsible for coordinating all aspects of a NCAA Division I Men's Baseball program including, but not limited to, managing day-to-day operations, recruiting academically and athletically qualified student-athletes, fostering and supporting student-athlete welfare, practice and game day preparation and coaching, scheduling, budget management, hiring and supervising assistant coaches, fundraising and public relations, and adherence to the NCAA, Big West, and University rules. The incumbent will develop positive relationships with faculty, staff, students, media, alumni, and boosters while interacting successfully with department personnel and the University community.The full salary range for the Head Baseball Coach is $103,100.00 - $196,300.00 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.

| Supervisory and leadership skills to mentor and develop assistant coaches and/or program instruction staff. |
| Current knowledge of applicable rules and standards of the affiliated athletic conference, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) or National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), as well as other associations and agencies to which the campus adheres, and, at all times avoid any and all violations of these rules and standards. |
