Job Description

This leader works with the company's North American Leadership Team (NALT), Directors, and first-line managers to ensure the company can reach its long-term goals. As a key member of the North American Leadership Team, you will help to improve the efficiency of daily processes throughout Canada and the US, while also coordinating with Austria and other Regions. This role also includes leading and managing our internal digital transformation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned)

- New lead generation and follow-ups.

- Perform product demonstrations in-house, online, and onsite using the company mobile van.

- Identifying, qualifying, and proposing solutions which highlight the benefits of our equipment.

- Quoting, negotiating, and completing the sale of equipment according to company policies; ensuring that all details are accounted for to ensure smooth delivery, payment and installation.

- Installation and basic training of machine operations for new clients.

- Service existing accounts, obtain orders and develop new accounts.

- Record and maintain contact information using company CRM.

- Regular reporting to Senior Sales Director.

- Work with the marketing department to generate sales leads.

- Attend tradeshows, fairs, and other off-site marketing activities. Assist with both assembly and disassembly.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

- Minimum 4 years' experience in technical sales.

- Must have a valid driver's license and passport to travel outside Canada.

- Must possess exceptional communication, negotiation and time management skills and be able to follow our specific and successful sales process.

- Proficiency using computers and related hardware.

- Experience in any Sales CRM, as well as MS Office (Excel, Word, PPP).

- Knowledge of Corel Draw, Illustrator or similar CAD Software is preferred.

- Ability to give professional presentations.

- Knowledge in solution selling technique is an asset.

- Proven track record of success.

- French Language is an asset

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, financial reports or governmental regulations.

- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions, inquiries or complaints from top management, co-workers and/or vendors.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

- Must possess advanced mathematical and analytical skills.

- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY:

- Analytical ability is required in order to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various problems, and prioritize work.

- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

- Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.

- Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
