Job Description

Position Description:

The primary function of the Inside Sales Coordinator is to generate revenue by developing new and existing accounts through quoting, bidding, soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding and interpreting technical requirements, understanding customer needs, outside sales support, creating solutions across companies, facilitating coordination of services and ensuring a smooth sales process from initial lead to follow up and account review. This position reports to the Inside Sales Manager.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Actively participate in the development and growth of the Inside Sales department.
  • Process ROIs on equipment requests.
  • Maintain equipment log and review ROI accuracy
  • Coordinate first fills for new equipment sets
  • Create and customize quotes for new and existing customers; manage, review and update customer quote log.
  • Develop accounts by checking customers' buying history, identifying potential new lines of revenue for existing customers and explaining technical features.
  • Build rapport and customer satisfaction with house accounts and assist outside sales with account management
  • Collect new customer information through direct customer contact and salesperson interaction, supply credit packages for completion and set up through the credit group.
  • Prepare presentations and accompany outside salespeople on sales calls
  • Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
  • Advanced problem-solving skills using data analytics and strategic decision making
  • Coordinate new customer information meeting with internal departments
  • Provide customer specific sales reports, complete customer specific tasks
  • Execute special sales and equipment projects
  • Complete quotes and bids through bid management systems
  • Set up daily pricing communication with pricing analyst per sales request
  • Set pricing on accounts with pricing analyst
  • Work with sales manager to coordinate promotions
  • Follow up on leads with initial company introduction / provide prospective customers with all services offered
  • Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities
  • Accomplish department and organization goals by accepting ownership for and accomplishing new and different requests.
  • Maintain CRM database (Salesforce) with prospective client information
  • Assist with CRM strategy, administration and optimization to support sales activities and reporting.
  • Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Perform any duties as may be assigned and operate in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Able to handle high stress situations if needed
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Follow company quality, safety and environmental guidelines as well as employee handbook policies

Qualifications/Experience/Education:

  • 3 - 5 years of position related experience required. Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Advanced data and computer skills with experience in Excel, new software rollouts and implementations with hands-on experience implementing and optimizing CRM systems.
  • Able to pass pre-employment 7-year criminal background check.
