Inside Sales Associate in Knoxville, Tennessee at Mid-Atlantic Roofing Supply

The Inside Sales Associate is responsible for handling inbound and outbound customer requests, identifying new opportunities, and providing clerical support and maintenance of internal systems. The Inside Sales Associate must be well-organized, pay great attention to detail, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Act as the first point of contact for inbound and outbound sales inquiries and address them in a timely manner.Establish and cultivate strong relationships with clients through excellent customer serviceAssist in the preparation of regularly scheduled sales reportsMonitor industry trends to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenueProcess accounts receivable as neededMaintain and update internal filing system and records Input data into Agility inventory management system and advise supervisors of low levels of inventoryPlace orders through vendors and support outside sales

REQUIREMENTS

At least 1 year of experience as an administrative assistant, clerical role, or sales supportStrong computer skills and understanding of spreadsheet softwareSelf-motivated and comfortable working with little to no directionProficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
