Wastewater Treatment Operations Specialist Level D
Location: Greenwood, SC
1st, 2nd, or 3rd Shift Available

Were placing a Level D Physical/Chemical Operator with a private environmental services company in Greenwood, SC. This is a direct hire role meaning you go straight onto their payroll with full stability, no temp period, and no middleman. Multiple shifts are available, and if youre open to any shift, you move to the front of the line.
What Youll Actually Do
This isnt a desk job. Youll own your section of the plant and be trusted to keep things running right. Day to day, that means:
Operating and monitoring physical/chemical wastewater treatment systems within permit limits
Working with pH adjustment, coagulation, flocculation, clarification, and chemical feed systems
Running routine sampling, inspections, and preventative maintenance
Watching your gauges, pumps, motors, and equipment like you know what matters
Keeping accurate logs and compliance documentation
Troubleshooting operational issues before they become problems
Working alongside a team that takes safety and quality seriously

Youve worked in wastewater, probably for a government or municipal facility, and youre good at it. You understand the processes, you have your Level D SC Physical/Chemical license, and youre tired of watching private sector operators have growth opportunities and take home bigger checks for the same work.

Required:
SC Level D Physical/Chemical Operator License
Mechanical aptitude and solid understanding of wastewater treatment basics
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in an industrial environment
Bonus Points For:
Hands-on experience with pumps, motors, valves, or chemical feed systems
Familiarity with environmental compliance and safety procedures
Any prior industrial wastewater experience outside of municipal work
The Details
Shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd available open availability preferred
Pay: $23.00+/hour depending on experience
Placement type: Direct hire youre on the clients team/payroll from day one
