Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. Responsibilities

Safely operate a bus or paratransit vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.Ensure the safety of all passengers during transport, including children and seniors.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing exceptional customer service at all times.Maintain accurate records of routes, passenger counts, and any incidents that occur during transport.Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedules, delays, or emergencies.Implement behavior management techniques when necessary to ensure a safe environment for all passengers.Provide support in childcare or senior care settings as needed, fostering a nurturing atmosphere.Qualifications

Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for bus driving.Experience in school bus driving or paratransit services is preferred.Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.Previous experience working with children or in childcare settings is highly desirable.Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine vehicle maintenance checks.Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating patience and understanding with passengers.Ability to manage behavior effectively while maintaining a positive environment.Teaching experience or skills in behavior management can enhance effectiveness in this role.
