Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.

Your Impact

1. Taxonomy, Metadata & Governance

  • Build and manage custom AEM Metadata Schemas and mandatory field requirements for asset ingestion

  • Enforce file-naming conventions, color profiles, resolution guidelines, and compression standards prior to publishing
  • Configure and maintain asset review, approval, and activation workflows within AEM Assets
  • Collaborate with AEM Sites Managers to ensure assets map cleanly to web templates and dynamic media delivery components

3. Rights, Licensing & Compliance

  • Manage digital rights management (DRM) fields, including photographer licensing, talent release forms, regional usage limits, and expiration dates
  • Configure automated embargo and expiration workflows in AEM to unpublish or archive assets when licenses expire

4. Training, User Access & Stakeholder Support

  • Manage user roles and Access Control Lists (ACLs) in coordination with the IT AEM Administrator to ensure proper permissions
  • Onboard and train internal staff, freelancers, and agency partners on AEM Assets, brand portal usage, and search navigation
  • Monitor system usage, produce analytics on asset utilization, and continuously gather feedback to improve search experience

About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 3 to 5 years of related experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS), Information Architecture, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (MLIS strongly preferred)
  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience managing an enterprise Digital Asset Management (DAM) system (AEM Assets experience required)

Technical Mastery:

  • Deep understanding of metadata standards (EXIF, IPTC, XMP), taxonomy building, and faceted search logic
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and asset export specifications
  • Basic understanding of web publishing principles, SEO, and CDN delivery (Dynamic Media)

Skills:

  • Meticulous attention to detail and obsession with order and categorizing information
  • Strong cross-functional management skills—ability to hold creative and marketing teams accountable to governance policies
  • Excellent communication skills to translate complex library principles into simple user training

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Adobe Brand Portal or Asset Share Commons
  • Familiarity with consumer electronics, photographic equipment, or enterprise hardware product lines
