• B.S. In Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of property management experience working with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) to report financial information is preferred.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Excellent communications skills both verbal and in writing.
• Resman, RealPage, MRI, YARDI or other property management software proficiency is highly desirable.

In This Role You Will

• Preparation of monthly financial operating statements.
• Balance Sheet reconciliation.
• Cash management and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Cash flow analysis/client distributions.
• Draw preparation and reviewing of budgets for lease up properties.
• Preparation of monthly sales tax returns.
• Month end close – auditing property transactions actual to budget, coordinating with community. operations regarding all on site accounting activity.
• General ledger and Accounts Payable coding review.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.
