The Role
Our Fairmount sober living house is looking for compassionate, dependable Resident Monitors to help keep our home safe, structured, and supportive. This is a great way to start a career in behavioral health. You’ll work alongside a collaborative team, get hands-on experience, and make a real difference in clients’ recovery journeys.
What You’ll Do
- Provide a safe, secure, and structured living environment
- Be a supportive, non-clinical resource for clients: listen actively, answer questions, and provide crisis support when needed
- Document client activity and behavior, and give clear shift reports (including a 30-minute shift change)
- Facilitate required groups and structured activities
- Transport clients to offsite meetings and activities
- Handle light facilities maintenance and report issues to your supervisor
- Help with office tasks such as answering phones, greeting guests, and filing
- Take part in monthly supervision and all required training
What You’ll Bring
- 21 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Active Ohio driver’s license with a clean driving record
