Surgical Technician II at Holy Cross Medical Center – Taos, New Mexico

Responsible for assisting the peri-operative team in many aspects of patient care, including but not limited to, patient care assistance, care of the environment, functioning competently in the C/S Department, and scrubbing minor surgical cases. Duties are performed under the direct supervision of the OR Charge Nurse, O.R. Manager and the Director of Surgical Services. Position requires 8, or 10-hour shifts to cover department Monday - Friday 06:30 - 17:00. Position requires individual to assume "on call" duty on a rotating basis. Call required to cover evenings, nights, weekends and Holidays

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED Required
• CST Certification Required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Excellent Customer Service & Communication Skills Required
