At Luminator Technology Group, we believe we are Better Together. We always put the Customer First, focus on achieving Results, strive to Be the Best, and foster a culture of Respect & Trust.

We’re on a mission to transform the future of global transportation technology — and we’re doing it at scale. Luminator is a worldwide industry leader, powering innovation across 85+ countries with a team of nearly 1,000 talented professionals who are shaping the next generation of mobility solutions.

Luminator is seeking a Repair Supervisor that is responsible for diagnosing, testing, and repairing complex electronic equipment that keeps our transit systems moving. In this role, you’ll apply your expertise in electronic systems, troubleshooting, and test software to identify root causes, restore functionality, and ensure every unit meets our quality standards.

You will oversee the full repair workflow — from hands‑on fault isolation to maintaining detailed equipment performance logs, including repairs, calibrations, and test results. As a frontline leader, you will train, mentor, and develop repair technicians, ensuring consistent execution, technical growth, and operational excellence across the team.

This is a critical role for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys solving technical challenges, and is passionate about building strong, capable teams.

Applicants must have valid U.S. work authorization. Sponsorship is not offered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety & Compliance Leadership
  • Oversee safety programs, enforce regulatory compliance, and ensure proper maintenance of ESD‑protected areas and required documentation.
Technical Oversight & Equipment Reliability
  • Lead inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair activities for systems, components, and industrial equipment, ensuring adherence to procedures and standards.
  • Guide setup and configuration of test fixtures, controls, power sources, and measurement instrumentation.
  • Monitor equipment performance and ensure timely preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair execution.
Quality Assurance & Technical Review
  • Conduct and verify component inspections for proper assembly, installation accuracy, and defect identification.
  • Review and validate digital content and message formatting for product accuracy and readiness.
  • Maintain high‑quality equipment logs, performance records, and maintenance documentation.
Operational Reporting & Resource Planning
  • Prepare and submit repair reports, timesheets, and required operational documentation.
  • Provide accurate time and cost estimates for repair and maintenance work, supporting planning and resource allocation.
Problem Solving & Technical Guidance
  • Apply advanced logic and reasoning to evaluate alternative solutions and guide the team toward effective troubleshooting strategies.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex repairs and diagnostics, coaching technicians to strengthen analytical and technical skills.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing required.
  • Proven experience in production assembly or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and electronic components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
  • Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and training capabilities.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance processes and RMR procedures.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Experience with other Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Teams, and Word preferred.
  • Prior experience with ERP environments (e.g. Syteline) required
