New Purpose is seeking an experienced and compassionate leader to serve as our Director of Integrated Supports/Service. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing Service Coordination, Medical, and Intake operations while ensuring individuals receive high-quality, person-centered care and support.

Position Summary

The Director of Integrated Supports provides leadership and oversight for Service Coordination, Medical, and Intake departments. This position ensures the delivery of high-quality services while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and person-centered practices.

Working closely with executive leadership, the Director supports operational effectiveness, quality initiatives, staff development, and integrated care coordination across the organization.

What You'll Do

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the Service Coordination, Medical, and Intake departments.
  • Lead and develop managers and team members through coaching, mentoring, performance management, and professional development.
  • Ensure services are delivered in accordance with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and person-centered best practices.
  • Oversee clinical and operational processes to ensure individuals receive coordinated, high-quality support and services.
  • Monitor department performance, compliance measures, quality indicators, and service outcomes, using data to identify trends and drive improvements.
  • Lead quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives to strengthen service delivery and enhance overall performance.
  • Oversee the review and response to critical incidents, reportable events, and risk management concerns.
  • Partner with leadership to develop, implement, and improve policies, procedures, and operational workflows.
  • Promote collaboration across departments to ensure effective communication and integrated care planning.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with individuals served, families, providers, referral sources, community partners, and regulatory agencies.
  • Participate in audits, surveys, accreditation reviews, and compliance activities while ensuring departments remain audit-ready.
  • Support strategic planning, organizational growth, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Manage departmental resources effectively while maintaining high standards of service and team performance.
  • Participate in an on-call leadership rotation to support urgent operational, clinical, or member-related matters as needed.

  • Participating in leadership and strategic planning meetings
  • Supporting regulatory readiness and audit preparation
  • Building relationships with providers, families, and community partners
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and outcomes

Requirements:
  • Active Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) license preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in healthcare, developmental disability services, behavioral health, managed care, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of person-centered planning, integrated care, and community-based services
  • Experience with Medicaid-funded programs, waiver services, or long-term services and supports preferred
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and multiple service areas
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance, compliance, and performance improvement processes
  • Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
