This role offers an opportunity for an experienced continuous improvement professional to drive meaningful operational transformation across a large fulfillment network.
You will lead complex improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, automation, efficiency, and sustainable performance improvements.
Working closely with operations, engineering, and cross-functional teams, you will apply Lean Six Sigma principles to solve challenging supply chain problems.
The position combines strategic analysis with hands-on execution, including time spent supporting fulfillment operations directly.
You will influence operational excellence by improving workflows, developing performance metrics, and implementing scalable solutions.

As a Senior Fulfillment Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will serve as a subject matter expert in Lean Six Sigma methodologies and operational excellence. You will independently lead high-impact initiatives across fulfillment operations, ensuring improvements are measurable, scalable, and sustained over time.
- Lead network-wide process analysis and implement standardized operating procedures that improve consistency, reliability, and efficiency across fulfillment centers.
- Manage complex continuous improvement projects from opportunity identification through implementation, measurement, and long-term sustainment.
- Design and execute pilot programs to validate process improvements before broader deployment.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies, statistical analysis, and structured problem-solving techniques to identify root causes and optimize performance.
- Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to measure improvement impact and provide visibility to senior stakeholders.
- Establish sustainment plans, control mechanisms, audits, and ownership models to prevent regression after project completion.
- Partner with engineering and operations teams to improve automated systems, including robotics, conveyors, sorting technologies, and related workflows.
- Optimize automation performance by analyzing downtime, throughput, reliability, and overall equipment effectiveness metrics.
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs, performance standards, and escalation processes for automated equipment.
- Collaborate with technical teams and vendors to support equipment upgrades, commissioning, and operational improvements.
- Facilitate Kaizen events, workshops, and cross-functional problem-solving sessions to accelerate improvement initiatives.
- Mentor team members and contribute to the development of continuous improvement capabilities across the organization.
- Communicate complex operational insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Represent customer needs and operational priorities in strategic decision-making discussions.
- Build detailed project plans, manage timelines and risks, and ensure alignment with broader operational goals.
The ideal candidate is an experienced continuous improvement leader with strong analytical skills, operational expertise, and the ability to influence teams through data-driven recommendations. You should be comfortable managing complex initiatives independently while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
- Green Belt or Black Belt Six Sigma certification, or at least 3 years of hands-on Lean Six Sigma experience in a complex operational environment.
- Proven experience leading end-to-end continuous improvement projects with measurable and sustainable outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies, root cause analysis, and structured problem-solving techniques.
- Experience using statistical analysis tools and methods such as Minitab, process capability analysis, and hypothesis testing.
- Ability to analyze operational data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex insights to executives and non-technical audiences.
- Experience facilitating Kaizen events and leading cross-functional improvement workshops.
- Background working in supply chain, warehouse, fulfillment, manufacturing, or distribution environments preferred.
- Experience with automation systems, robotics, conveyors, or equipment performance optimization is highly valued.
- Knowledge of Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) programs and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) measurement preferred.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and manage changing requirements.
- Ability to mentor others and elevate continuous improvement practices across teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field preferred.
- Competitive base salary range of $92,440 - $115,550 per year.
