The Manager, Business Development will lead market development strategies, oversee a team of business development professionals, and drive initiatives that expand business opportunities. This role requires strong leadership, commercial expertise, and the ability to build trusted relationships with internal teams, partners, and healthcare professionals.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to identify new market opportunities and accelerate growth.
- Lead initiatives that increase customer engagement, market penetration, and long-term business value.
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to create and implement targeted education and engagement programs for healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with strategic partners to align market development initiatives and maximize commercial impact.

- Manage, coach, and develop a remote team of business development professionals by setting goals, providing feedback, and supporting career growth.
- Establish performance expectations, development plans, and accountability frameworks to drive team success.
- Build strong relationships with customers, healthcare professionals, and internal stakeholders to support strategic objectives.
- Promote effective funnel management practices and support teams in identifying and advancing growth opportunities.
- Define and monitor KPIs, forecasts, and performance objectives to improve operational effectiveness.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring alignment with policies, procedures, and business goals.
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in business development, sales leadership, healthcare, or medical device environments. They are a strategic thinker with strong communication skills and the ability to motivate teams while influencing stakeholders across complex organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree required; a master’s degree or advanced education in business, audiology, healthcare, or a related field is preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, healthcare, or medical device industries.
- 3+ years of experience leading and developing teams, including remote teams.
- Proven ability to create and execute growth strategies and achieve measurable business results.
- Strong sales and business development expertise with excellent forecasting and planning capabilities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching, mentoring, performance management, and team development.
- Strong change management and process improvement experience.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders, manage partnerships, and drive organizational initiatives.
- Customer-focused, empathetic leadership style with strong collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce CRM.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Ability to work remotely with reliable internet connectivity suitable for business operations.
- Experience in hearing healthcare or related industries is preferred.
- Competitive base salary range of $91,200–$130,000, plus commission eligibility.
