Client Services Team Lead

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Client Services Team Lead based in United States.

This remote leadership opportunity combines client service excellence with hands-on team development and career growth.
You will work directly with clients to answer questions, explain benefits, support enrollments, and provide ongoing service.
At the same time, you will coach newer team members and help foster a collaborative, accountable virtual team culture.

Accountabilities:
  • Meet virtually with clients through video calls and scheduled phone appointments to understand their needs and provide responsive service.
  • Answer client questions regarding available benefits, coverage options, products, and services in a clear and professional manner.
  • Assist clients with enrollments, policy updates, and ongoing service requirements.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through trust, effective communication, responsiveness, and high-quality support.
  • Maintain accurate client records and complete timely follow-up communications.
  • Deliver a positive and professional client experience throughout the service lifecycle.
  • Support, coach, encourage, and mentor newer team members as they develop their client service and professional skills.
  • Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, integrity, and consistent performance.
  • Help foster collaboration, communication, and a positive culture within a fully virtual team.
  • Participate in leadership meetings, coaching sessions, workshops, and professional development programs.
  • Use technology and virtual collaboration tools to improve communication, organization, and workflow efficiency.
  • Continue developing leadership, communication, coaching, and management capabilities through ongoing mentorship and training.
  • Contribute to a high-performing environment by supporting team goals and encouraging continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States and physically located within the United States.
  • Access to a computer or laptop, reliable high-speed internet, webcam, and microphone.
  • A quiet and professional workspace suitable for virtual client and team interactions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Leadership potential and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to motivate and support others.
  • Self-motivation, personal accountability, professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage responsibilities independently.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while remaining engaged with a broader virtual team.
  • Positive, adaptable attitude and commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Previous experience in team leadership, customer service, client relations, sales, healthcare, retail management, hospitality, business operations, or administrative leadership is beneficial but not required.
  • Previous management or leadership experience is helpful, but motivated candidates can develop these skills through structured training and mentorship.
