Legal Assistant | Case Support Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Legal Assistant | Case Support Specialist based in Brazil.

This role provides essential administrative and client support within a fast-paced legal environment.
You will help keep workflows organized, ensure documents and tasks are completed accurately, and maintain smooth communication with clients.
The position combines case support, calendar coordination, records management, and day-to-day operational assistance.
You’ll serve as an important point of contact, helping clients receive timely and professional responses throughout their interactions.
Success in the role requires strong organization, responsiveness, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.
You’ll also have the opportunity to identify workflow improvements and contribute ideas that make daily operations more efficient.
This is a fully remote opportunity suited to a proactive professional who enjoys ownership, structure, and meaningful client interaction.

Accountabilities:
  • Monitor workflows and assigned tasks to ensure deadlines are met and nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Maintain accurate, organized records and communication tracking across ongoing matters and client interactions.
  • Request, collect, organize, and follow up on required documentation to keep processes moving efficiently.
  • Communicate with clients professionally through email and occasional phone calls, providing timely and helpful support.
  • Schedule calls, coordinate calendars, and help manage appointments and other administrative activities.
  • Support business transactional work and other legal administrative activities as needed.
  • Track outstanding actions and follow up proactively to prevent delays, missed steps, or operational oversights.
  • Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and consistent follow-through.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, and day-to-day efficiency.
  • Use the Lawcus CRM to maintain relevant information and support organized case and workflow management.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Legal Assistant, Legal Support Specialist, or in a comparable legal support role; alternatively, a relevant Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies may be considered.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to follow through on tasks, deadlines, documentation requests, and client communications.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Professional, confident, and courteous approach to client interactions.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm, accurate, and effective under pressure.
  • Proactive mindset with the initiative to anticipate needs and suggest practical workflow improvements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to manage detailed administrative work without becoming overwhelmed or losing sight of priorities.
  • Familiarity with Lawcus CRM is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while maintaining accountability and consistent communication.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday during 9:00 AM–5:00 PM CST, with the listed work shift extending to 9:00 AM–6:00 PM CST/CDT depending on daylight-saving time.
