About the Role:

The Assistant Parking Operations Manager plays a critical role in supporting the efficient and effective management of parking facilities across multiple locations. This position is responsible for assisting in the oversight of daily parking operations, ensuring a seamless experience for customers while maximizing revenue and operational efficiency. The role involves coordinating with staff, managing schedules, and addressing any operational challenges promptly to maintain high service standards. Additionally, the Assistant Manager collaborates with senior management to implement policies, improve processes, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Ultimately, this position contributes to the overall success of the parking operations by fostering a customer-focused environment and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in parking operations, facilities management, or a related customer service role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with experience managing teams or staff.
  • Proficiency in using parking management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers, staff, and management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting in an operational environment.
  • Knowledge of local parking regulations and compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with security protocols and emergency response procedures in parking facilities.
  • Certification in parking management or related professional credentials.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing daily parking operations including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure smooth facility functioning.
  • Monitor and analyze parking revenue and operational data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and security teams to ensure parking facilities are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Support the implementation of operational policies and procedures in compliance with company standards and local regulations.
  • Train and supervise parking staff, providing guidance and performance feedback to promote professional development.
  • Assist in budgeting and financial reporting related to parking operations.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors to manage equipment and service contracts effectively.
