Description:

The Accounting & Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for supporting and coordinating key accounting, purchasing, and other corporate shared services for the Company’s multi-location entertainment business from its South Ogden headquarters. This position plays an integral role in maintaining efficient day-to-day business operations by overseeing transactional accounting support functions, coordinating purchasing activities, supporting operational initiatives, and managing administrative processes across multiple departments.

This role works closely with the Controller, Director of Purchasing & Procurement, Accounts Payable, Operations leadership, and other corporate departments to help ensure accurate financial transactions, organized operational processes, and effective coordination of corporate office activities. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.

Requirements: Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial Operations Support
  • Coordinate and support bank reconciliation activities for corporate and shared services entities.
  • Assist with month-end close processes, including preparation and review support for journal entries, reconciliations, and financial documentation.
  • Monitor and track intercompany payables and receivables, assisting with reconciliation and issue resolution across multiple entities.
  • Support sales tax reporting processes, document management, and related compliance activities.
  • Maintain organized accounting records and ensure supporting documentation is accurate and accessible.
  • Assist with special accounting projects, operational reporting, and process improvement initiatives as assigned.
  • Identify and communicate discrepancies, process concerns, or operational inefficiencies to management.
Purchasing & Operational Coordination
  • Coordinate purchase order entry, tracking, and follow-up activities within the ERP and purchasing systems.
  • Monitor purchasing activity and delivery timelines for corporate and park locations, helping ensure operational needs are met.
  • Serve as a liaison between Accounting, Procurement, Operations, and vendors regarding purchasing activity, order status, and related operational matters.
  • Assist with tracking outstanding purchase orders, open items, and vendor-related follow-up.
  • Maintain organized purchasing records and support operational reporting related to purchasing activities.
  • Support procurement and operational process consistency across multiple business locations.
  • Oversee and manage company-wide travel coordination through the corporate expense and travel platform, ensuring cost-effective travel arrangements, policy compliance, and operational efficiency across all business locations.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting support, bookkeeping, office administration, operational coordination, or related business support role.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working with ERP systems; NetSuite experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and support operational business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting month-end close processes and transactional accounting functions.
  • Experience working in multi-entity and intercompany accounting environments.
  • Experience coordinating purchasing, procurement, or operational support activities.
  • Experience in hospitality, entertainment, retail, restaurant, or other multi-location operational industries.
Work Environment & Expectations
  • This is a full-time salaried exempt position based at the Company’s South Ogden corporate headquarters. The role is 100% in-office (no remote or hybrid work arrangement)
  • Position may require occasional flexibility in schedule to support operational or business needs.
  • This position requires independent judgment, prioritizes responsibilities appropriately, and manages workload with minimal day-to-day supervision.
