This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr. Analyst, Global Portfolio Strategy in the United States.
This role plays a key part in a large-scale portfolio assessment initiative focused on optimizing product and SKU-level performance through advanced data analysis and financial modeling. You will support strategic decisions by identifying opportunities for product rationalization, discontinuation, and margin improvement across a complex healthcare portfolio. The position is highly analytical and execution-driven, requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to transform large datasets into actionable insights. You will work with commercial, financial, and operational data to quantify business impact and support leadership decision-making. Operating within a structured but fast-paced environment, you will contribute to scenario analysis, dashboard development, and executive reporting. This is a time-bound role with a clear deliverable horizon, offering the opportunity to directly influence portfolio efficiency and profitability at scale.
- Extract, clean, and analyze large commercial, financial, and operational datasets to support portfolio assessment initiatives.
- Build SKU- and product-level analyses to evaluate volume, revenue, margin, gross profit, and cost-to-serve performance.
- Develop financial models and analytical tools using Excel, Power Query, Python, and Power BI to support decision-making.
- Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to quantify optimization and discontinuation impacts on portfolio performance.
- Prepare structured dashboards, reports, and leadership-ready summaries to communicate insights and recommendations.
- Document methodologies, assumptions, and data sources to ensure transparency and analytical rigor.
- Support ad-hoc analytical requests related to portfolio optimization and strategic assessment activities.
- Ensure timely and complete delivery of all analytical outputs aligned with the project timeline and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Analytics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in analytics, FP&A, financial analysis, or commercial data roles.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience handling complex datasets and financial models.
- Experience with Power BI, Power Query, and Python is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work with incomplete or imperfect data while clearly documenting assumptions and methodologies.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear business insights.
- Experience with SKU, portfolio, or margin analysis, ideally in a regulated or healthcare environment, is a plus.
- Competitive base salary range ($94,000–$151,800 annually)
