Summary:

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for the efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory management, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. Key duties include operating forklifts, performing quality control, and participating in continuous improvement activities. The role requires adherence to company policies and safety regulations, strong communication skills, and a can-do attitude.

Tasks:

• Unload and load trucks for incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Perform inbound QAQC (Quality Assurance and Quality Control) processes for new inventory.
• Complete all outbound processes for inventory leaving the warehouse.
• Facilitate physical and system transfers between warehouses and warehouse locations.
• Execute necessary transactions using SAP and other relevant warehouse management software.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and tidy warehouse by applying the 5S methodology.
• Ensure a safe working environment at all times.
• Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.
• Attend all training sessions as required by the management team.
• Assist in inventory stock-taking activities.
• Support additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager based on the operator's skills and capabilities.

Skills:

• Proficiency in operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
• Ability to use a computer, handheld terminals, and barcode scanners for warehouse operations.
