Summary:
The Production Supervisor will provide hands-on leadership for manufacturing operations during the 2nd shift, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and employee development objectives are achieved. This role is responsible for leading production teams, maintaining accountability, supporting workforce development, and driving continuous improvement initiatives while fostering a positive and safety-focused work environment.

As a Production Supervisor, You Will:

• Lead and supervise production employees on the 2nd shift manufacturing team
• Drive accountability, productivity, and operational performance throughout the shift
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture while meeting production goals and deadlines
• Monitor workflow, staffing levels, and production schedules to maximize efficiency
• Coach, mentor, and develop employees to improve performance and engagement
• Conduct employee training, performance discussions, and corrective action when necessary
• Coordinate activities with production, quality, maintenance, and leadership teams
• Track production metrics and implement improvements to achieve operational targets
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and safety
• Assist with managing temporary labor resources and workforce utilization as needed

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of production supervision experience within a manufacturing environment required
• Proven leadership skills with a hands-on, lead-by-example management style
• Strong accountability and results-driven mindset
• Experience driving production performance and employee engagement
• Commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence
• Experience managing temporary labor preferred
• Strong coaching, mentoring, and employee development skills
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associate's Degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field
