Experienced Assistant Maintenance Supervisor-Treliis on the Lake in St. Petersburg, Florida at Robbins Property Associates LLC

Robbins Property Associates, a national multi-family management company, seeks a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to join our Team.

Position Summary: Along with the Property Manager and the Maintenance Supervisor, the Assistant Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the physical assets, general maintenance repairs, apartment make-readies, preventive maintenance and construction or rehabilitation projects for an apartment community. Responsible for maintaining adequate inventory of supplies for repairs and assisting with the monthly maintenance budget monitoring as well as back-up to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Job Duties:

• Understands and complies with Fair Housing laws and standards

• Must be able to interact with residents and vendors in a friendly, inviting, and professional manner

• Prefer four years’ experience

• HVAC Maintenance, Repair and Replacement

• Appliance, General Plumbing and Electrical Repairs

• General Apartment Make Ready

• Painting, Minor Carpentry and Drywall Repairs

• On call rotation which may result in evening, weekend and holiday coverage.

• Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of buildings, common areas and grounds

• Participate in apartment turn-key process, service requests and preventative maintenance programs

• Contribute in the organization and inventory control of the Maintenance Shop and other storage areas

• Application of all safety standards and practices associated with maintenance operations

• HVAC certification required
