Position Summary

Barefoot Mosquito Control is seeking a motivated, customer focused Inside Sales Representative to drive revenue growth by converting inbound leads, generating new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with residential and commercial customers. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys helping customers solve problems and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for qualifying leads, educating prospects on our mosquito and pest control services, preparing quotes, closing sales, and supporting customer retention efforts.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Lead Management
  • Respond promptly to inbound phone, web, email, and referral leads.
  • Qualify prospective customers and identify service needs.
  • Present and explain Barefoot Mosquito Control service offerings, pricing, and treatment plans.
  • Prepare and deliver quotes and proposals.
  • Follow up on estimates and open opportunities to close sales.
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of prospects and sales opportunities.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals.
Customer Relationship Management
  • Build rapport and trust with prospective and existing customers.
  • Address customer questions regarding services, scheduling, pricing, and treatment expectations.
  • Assist customers with renewals, upgrades, and additional service offerings.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
Administrative & CRM Responsibilities
  • Accurately document customer interactions and sales activities within the CRM system.
  • Maintain detailed records of leads, quotes, and customer communications.
  • Coordinate with operations and scheduling teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Track sales performance and provide regular activity updates.
Business Development
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Generate referrals from satisfied customers.
  • Support marketing campaigns and lead generation initiatives.
  • Assist with seasonal sales promotions and customer outreach efforts.

Requirements:

Qualifications

Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of sales, customer service, call center, or inside sales experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and confidently ask for the sale.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and web-based applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
  • Experience in home services, pest control, lawn care, HVAC, landscaping, or related industries.
  • Experience using CRM and scheduling software.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
