Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept:
Inspection Guru: Conduct thorough visual inspections to identify defects and irregularities in products and processes, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Data-Driven Analyst: Document inspection results meticulously, maintaining accurate records and generating quality reports to track trends and identify improvement opportunities.
Collaborative Problem Solver: Work hand-in-hand with production teams to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent future defects.
Material Management Expert: Oversee the flow of Non-Conforming Material, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.
Real-Time Quality Support: Provide immediate quality assistance to production, helping to resolve issues as they arise.
Quality Control Innovator: Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures and inspection criteria to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Audit Participant: Engage in internal audits and quality system assessments, ensuring compliance with relevant quality management standards.
Root Cause Detective: Participate in Root Cause Corrective Action activities, documenting and implementing process change requests to drive continuous improvement.
What You Bring to the Team:
Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree or certification in quality assurance, metrology, or a related field is preferred.
Quality Experience: 3+ years of demonstrated experience in quality roles within a manufacturing environment.
Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
Detail-Oriented Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills, with a knack for identifying and solving problems independently.
Effective Communicator: Clear verbal and written communication skills, able to convey complex information simply and effectively.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Statistical Knowledge: Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) techniques and data analysis software is preferred.
Adaptability: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Work Environment:
Enjoy a dynamic mix of office work and hands-on quality assurance activities on the shop floor! This role may require occasional business travel (approximately 10%). You’ll spend about 70% of your time seated, 20% standing, and 10% engaged in walking and lifting tasks, ensuring a well-rounded work experience.
