- Pay Rate: $28–$40 per hour, depending on experience
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Work Location: Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach County
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of four (4) years of Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) experience in roadway and/or bridge construction
- Prior experience with FDOT-funded or State/Federal Aid construction projects
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to interpret construction plans, specifications, and engineering computations
- Ability to manage multiple inspection activities in a fast-paced construction environment
- CTQP Final Estimates Level I
- CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level I
- CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level II (Bridges)
- CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I
- CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level II
- CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I
- CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level II
- CTQP Pile Driving Inspection
- CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection
- Required for inspection of all drilled shafts, including miscellaneous structures such as sign structures, lighting structures, and traffic signal structure foundations
- FDOT Intermediate Maintenance of Traffic (MOT)
- IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I
- Nuclear Radiation Safety
- Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and Contractors’
- Field surveying and construction layout
- Marking and checking engineering computations
- Inspecting construction work for compliance with plans, specifications, and standards
- Conducting required field tests and documentation
