The Regional Director will own the performance, strategy, and operational success of an assigned region, ensuring strong financial results, regulatory compliance, and consistent execution across multiple sites. This role requires strategic leadership, operational discipline, and the ability to build high-performing teams.
- Own regional P&L performance, including revenue growth, margin improvement, cost management, and capital allocation across assigned sites.
- Develop and execute regional growth strategies focused on market expansion, capacity planning, site development, and customer growth opportunities.
- Lead, coach, and support regional Pharmacy Managers and site leaders while establishing clear performance expectations and accountability.
- Drive operational excellence by improving workflows, standardizing best practices, and optimizing productivity across locations.
- Use operational metrics and business insights to identify trends, address performance gaps, and implement corrective actions.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Compliance, and other stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- Influence capital investment decisions, including facility improvements, equipment needs, and expansion initiatives.
- Contribute to broader operations strategy by providing regional insights on network design, operating models, and growth opportunities.
- Build leadership pipelines, develop talent, and establish succession plans to support long-term organizational growth.
- Ensure regional compliance with healthcare, pharmacy, radiation safety, licensing, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain audit and inspection readiness while ensuring consistent adherence to policies, procedures, and operational controls.
- Identify, mitigate, and escalate operational and regulatory risks through proactive risk management practices.
- Ensure training, certifications, documentation, and compliance requirements are completed accurately and on schedule.
The ideal candidate is an experienced healthcare or operations leader with a proven record of managing complex, distributed teams and delivering measurable business results. This professional should combine strategic thinking, operational expertise, and strong leadership capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in business, healthcare, operations, or a related field preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, pharmacy operations, manufacturing, or another highly regulated industry.
- Demonstrated success managing multi-site or regional operations with full P&L responsibility.
- Experience driving business growth, margin expansion, and operational transformation across distributed teams.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in regulated healthcare environments.
- Proven ability to develop leaders, build talent pipelines, and strengthen organizational capability.
- Strong business and operational acumen with the ability to improve profitability, efficiency, and performance.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills across operations, finance, quality, compliance, sales, and other business functions.
