Starting Pay: $17.99/hour Work Schedule: Day shift

POSITION SUMMARY
The employee in this position will support the processing and farm crews with a variety of farming, harvesting, processing, and general operational activities. The employee must be able to follow direction, work effectively as part of a team, and complete assigned tasks safely, efficiently, and within established timeframes. Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age to perform all required functions of the position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
· Perform cannabis trimming and packaging in accordance with established quality, production, and safety standards.
· Accurately weigh, measure, record, and track cannabis lots and products as required.
· Operate trimming machines and related equipment safely and in accordance with established procedures.
· Assist with basic construction, greenhouse setup, maintenance, and repairs as assigned.
· Perform routine plant care and maintenance activities to support healthy plant growth and production.
· Assist with field preparation, maintenance, cleanup, and general upkeep.
· Safely operate farm equipment, tools, and machinery as trained and authorized.
· Follow all applicable safety, sanitation, quality control, and operational procedures.
· Maintain confidentiality and protect the privacy and personal information of customers, employees, and the organization.
· Pull leaves, weeds and other garden related tasks
· Harvest (cut/lift/load) finished cannabis plants
· Hang harvested material for drying, pack dry material into storage bins
· Perform harvest tasks using scissor/clippers/pruners for prolonged periods of time
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors for the full shift
· Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age to perform all required functions of the position.
· Perform other related farming, processing, and operational duties as assigned.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

· Ability to read, understand, and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals, and other work-related documents.
· Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions related to cannabis trimming, packaging, plant care, greenhouse operations, field maintenance, and other assigned duties.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect the privacy and personal information of customers and staff.
Mathematical Skills
· Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
· Ability to accurately weigh, measure, calculate, and record cannabis products, lots, inventory, and other production information.
Reasoning Ability
· Ability to apply sound judgment and attention to detail when trimming, packaging, weighing, and handling cannabis products.
· Ability to safely operate trimming machines, farm equipment, and other assigned tools and equipment.
· Ability to perform basic construction, greenhouse setup, plant care and maintenance, and field preparation and upkeep.
· Ability to identify and resolve routine operational issues while following established safety and production procedures.
· Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age to perform all required job functions.
Computer Skills
· Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use digital recordkeeping and inventory systems, agricultural software, email, data entry systems, and other standard business software as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· High School Diploma or GED OR
· 1 year of relevant experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the essential functions of this position, employees are regularly required to stand and walk for extended periods and may occasionally be required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employees must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, use their hands repeatedly to perform various job-related tasks, and have the ability to speak and hear effectively for workplace communication.
This position also requires close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed in a given point), and depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships).
Other Requirements
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and follow the Squaxin Island Tribe's drug policies. This position requires strict confidentiality. The successful applicant must be 21 years old or older; must follow instructions and respond to management direction; have good communication skills; prioritize and plan work activities and meet challenges with resourcefulness; and treat others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.
