Job Overview
The Procurement department at Lavazza North America is responsible for sourcing the goods and services needed to support the business while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and supply continuity. The team partners with suppliers and internal stakeholders across Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance to manage purchasing needs and support business objectives. Through strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization initiatives, Procurement helps drive operational efficiency and supports Lavazza's continued growth.
The Procurement Process Analyst manages the operational and transactional activities of the procure-to-pay (P2P) process for direct raw materials, indirect purchases, and services across Lavazza North America. The role maintains purchasing-document and reporting data integrity, supports category buyers in executing sourcing strategies and Supplier Relationship Management activities, and strengthens purchasing governance through stakeholder training and system support. This position also applies supply chain considerations to procurement decisions and drives continuous improvement in procurement processes, metrics, systems, portals, and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain supplier, internal customer, and cross-functional relationships that support timely delivery of goods and services.
- Communicate supply capabilities, constraints, and issue-resolution requirements to stakeholders and coordinate alignment on corrective actions.
- Support category buyers in developing sourcing strategies, executing Supplier Relationship Management activities, and preparing procurement reporting.
- Execute tactical purchasing activities for low-risk and commodity spend categories in accordance with established policies and approval requirements.
- Govern day-to-day buying activities for Lavazza North America direct raw materials, indirect purchases, and services.
- Incorporate supply chain requirements into procurement decisions to improve continuity, efficiency, cost, and service performance.
- Train and support stakeholders in Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing (SAP) purchasing processes to reinforce P2P compliance and improve procurement metrics.
- Administer stakeholder activity across procurement and contract-management systems, portals, dashboards, and reporting tools while identifying process-improvement opportunities.
Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain operations, or business process analysis.
- Experience processing purchase orders or purchasing documents within a P2P environment.
- Experience using an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Experience maintaining procurement data, reports, metrics, dashboards, or master-data records.
- Experience supporting sourcing activities, supplier management, or stakeholder issue resolution.
- Experience documenting processes, training system users, or supporting purchasing-policy compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and time-sensitive purchasing activities in a fast-paced business environment.
