The Territory Account Manager will own customer relationships within an assigned territory, driving revenue growth through consultative sales strategies, account planning, and technology solutions that address customer needs.
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for a portfolio of enterprise accounts, developing deep knowledge of customer business objectives and technology priorities.
- Create and execute strategic account plans focused on business growth, customer retention, expansion opportunities, and new customer acquisition.
- Build trusted relationships with IT leaders, executives, and key stakeholders by understanding their challenges and delivering relevant solutions.
- Drive complex solution sales across networking, infrastructure, AI-driven operations, cloud, and consumption-based technology offerings.
- Collaborate with presales engineers, sales teams, and channel partners to design and deliver effective customer solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners to expand market reach and deliver complete solutions.
- Manage sales pipelines with strong forecasting discipline, ensuring opportunities are accurately tracked and aligned with sales methodologies.
- Lead cross-functional deal teams by engaging the right internal specialists and resources at the appropriate stages of the sales cycle.
- Translate customer business challenges into technology strategies and recommend solutions that create measurable value.
- Represent the organization as a strategic advisor, helping customers navigate evolving technology trends and infrastructure needs.
The ideal candidate is an experienced enterprise sales professional with strong consultative selling abilities, technical curiosity, and a proven track record of managing complex customer relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Approximately 5–10 years of experience in enterprise or large-account sales, ideally within networking, infrastructure, cloud, or related technology markets.
- Proven success managing complex enterprise accounts and navigating multi-stakeholder buying processes.
- Experience selling through channel partners and collaborating with partner ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts or the ability to quickly learn technical domains, including networking infrastructure, routing, switching, and related technologies.
- Ability to engage confidently with CIOs, IT executives, and business leaders through value-based conversations.
- Strong consultative sales skills with experience identifying customer challenges and aligning solutions to business outcomes.
- Experience using structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC or similar approaches.
- Excellent pipeline management, forecasting, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Strong leadership and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Curious, adaptable, and motivated by continuous learning in rapidly evolving technology markets.
- Ability to prioritize effectively across a large territory and build scalable account engagement strategies.
- Competitive annual compensation range of $194,500–$456,500 USD, including base salary and target-level sales compensation.
