What You'll Do
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you'll play a hands-on role in making sure every product that leaves our facility meets our exacting standards — from raw materials to finished goods. Day to day, you'll:
- Verify product specifications and ensure company policies and procedures are followed
- Clear production equipment, rooms, and packaging lines between runs
- Authorize rework when needed and perform cleaning verifications
- Review in-process documentation and manage documentation control
- Conduct yield investigations, product sampling, and point-step process reviews
- Review materials and verify labels against work orders for accuracy
- Partner with Production and Customer Service to keep projects on track and compliant with federal regulations
- Champion cGMP compliance across the facility
- Take on other tasks as assigned by your supervisor
What You Bring
Education
- High school diploma or GED, plus 1–3 months of related experience/training — or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with GMPs; nutraceutical industry experience is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable following instructions while also using sound judgment within company guidelines
- Thrives under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Sharp attention to detail and strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
- Adaptable — you roll with change and stay effective when priorities shift
- A reliable, self-directed team member with high integrity
- Knowledge of Dietary Supplement GMPs and experience in the dietary supplement industry preferred
- Auditing experience a plus, but not required
- Experience enforcing SOPs and product specifications
- Proficient in MS Office, with required Excel skills
- Solid math skills and English proficiency required
Physical Requirements
This role is active and hands-on. You'll regularly stand, walk, sit, and use your hands; occasionally lift/move up to 20 lbs. and frequently up to 10 lbs.; and need close, distant, color, and peripheral vision along with depth perception. The role may involve exposure to a dusty environment and moderate noise levels.
