The Senior Analyst/Associate will be responsible for managing OTC derivative confirmation activities, ensuring documentation accuracy, resolving trade-related issues, and supporting operational improvements. The role requires strong attention to detail, financial markets knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Review, draft, and manage OTC derivative confirmations to ensure accurate trade documentation and risk mitigation.
- Support the confirmation process for OTC equity structured products, working with both internal teams and external counterparties.
- Analyze and resolve trade confirmation discrepancies, economic breaks, and documentation-related issues.
- Collaborate with counterparties, legal teams, trading desks, risk teams, and other stakeholders to resolve outstanding confirmation matters.
- Draft ad-hoc confirmation requests based on business requirements and counterparty needs.
- Create and maintain confirmation templates while coordinating required approvals from relevant stakeholders.
- Support process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, automation, and enhanced operational controls.
- Provide documentation guidance and support for new products, templates, and structured product workflows.
- Manage additional operational tasks and priorities based on business requirements.
The ideal candidate should have experience in OTC derivatives documentation, structured products, and confirmation processes, along with strong analytical and communication skills. The role requires the ability to manage complex documentation workflows while collaborating with multiple financial stakeholders.
- 2–3 years of experience drafting OTC derivative confirmations, with knowledge of ISDA Equity and Swap Definitions (2002 and 2006/2021).
- Experience reviewing and drafting OTC equity structured products, including Autocalls, Swap Strategies, Option Strategies, and Structured Variance Swaps.
- Strong understanding of OTC trade lifecycle processes and documentation requirements.
- Ability to identify documentation risks, resolve breaks, and propose practical solutions.
- Experience collaborating with legal, risk, trading, and operational teams.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Intermediate negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
