GROUNDS SPECIALIST in St Paul, Minnesota at TRELLIS MANAGEMENT CO

The Grounds Specialist is responsible for landscaping, snow removal, and general upkeep of property grounds, ensuring that all outdoor areas are safe, attractive, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate has previous experience in landscaping and grounds management, is comfortable performing physical work in various weather conditions, and has a commitment to maintaining beautiful and safe outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete the day-to-day maintenance of lawns, gardens, pathways, parking areas, and other outdoor spaces to ensure they are well-kept and visually appealing.
• Perform general landscaping tasks, such as mowing, trimming, mulching, pruning, fertilizing, watering, and seasonal plantings.
• Ensure that pathways, entrances, and parking areas are cleared of snow, ice, leaves, and debris to maintain a safe environment year-round.
• Operate landscaping and snow removal equipment including mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, snow blowers, and small machinery.
• Follow safety procedures and company standards for all tasks.
• Work with team members to ensure timely completion of daily tasks and projects.
• Complete general maintenance tasks and projects as directed during the off-season to support site operations.

• Previous landscaping/groundskeeping and/or snow removal experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time in varying weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor daily.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
