As part of this network, Lone Tree Pediatrics is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our pediatric care team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider who enjoys caring for children and families, building lasting patient relationships, and working in a supportive outpatient practice environment.
Position Summary
The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will provide direct pediatric patient care and support clinical operations under the overall direction of the Medical Director and in accordance with applicable Colorado licensure requirements, scope of practice, organizational policies, and state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality pediatric care using sound clinical judgment and evidence-based practice
- Evaluate, diagnose, treat, educate, and follow up with pediatric patients and families
- Recognize clinical limitations and seek consultation when appropriate
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the EMR
- Follow HIPAA, state, federal, and organizational requirements
- Support clinical quality, patient experience, and efficient clinic operations
- Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and leadership to ensure excellent patient care
- Participate in outreach, quality improvement, or practice initiatives as assigned or approved
- Communicate operational concerns, barriers, or opportunities for improvement to leadership
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Colorado Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license
- NCCPA certification required for Physician Assistant candidates
- Board certification required for Nurse Practitioner candidates
- Pediatric experience
- Basic Life Support certification required
- Strong computer skills required; EMR experience preferred
- Excellent communication, clinical judgment, professionalism, and teamwork skills

Salary: $95,000 - $120,000 annually
The salary range listed represents the typical range for candidates hired into this role. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, schedule, qualifications, and internal equity. Salary may be adjusted based on hours worked per week.
