Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

ONLY ACCEPTING APPLICANTS OVERSEAS

The Sustainment Developer is responsible for providing expert guidance and effectively managing and optimizing C#, SQL/T-SQL, Azure Logic app, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, and other Azure features. The developer also contributes to the team's other development responsibilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Power Apps solutions.
• Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Experience designing and developing web-based applications in C#, .NET Core, SQL Server, and Azure.
• Experience working with RDBMS, preferably Azure SQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Advanced level proficiency with Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic apps
• Escalate and respond to emergencies and urgent issues appropriately and professionally.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in software development, computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with .net, C# Azure Data factory, logic apps and Functions.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Experience with the following: .NET Core, C#, JavaScript, Typescript, and RESTful APIs
• Strong experience working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, and XML.
• Solid understanding of OOP programming concepts (SOLID principles, design patterns, dependency injects, event sourcing, etc)
• Experience using SQL /T-SQL or PL/SQL to access and manage relational databases. (SQL Server or Oracle preferred).
• Experience working with Azure Services like Azure Data Factory, Logic App, Functions, Azure SQL DB, and Blob Storage.
• Experience creating Azure Data Factory pipelines leveraging Data Movement activities, Data Transformation activities like Data Flow, Stored Procedure, Custom Activity, Azure Functions, etc . and Control Flow Activities like web activity, lookup activity, etc.
• Deploy, schedule, and monitor pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
• Identify optimal data ingestion methods and develop batch processing solutions using Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with source code repository and collaborative software development platforms (Azure DevOps preferred)
• Integrate third-party APIs, services, and data sources into applications to extend functionality and connectivity

Preferred Skills:
• Work experience in higher education.
• UMGC or USM prior experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM
• Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform+
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
