POSITION SUMMARY
The general assembler works in the final assembly departments and is responsible for the production of all boat trailers and their components.

Essential Functions:
- Work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy
- Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently
- Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality
- Ensure that the work is meeting all quality standards
- Report any quality issues to the supervisor
- Operate machinery and power tools correctly and maintain it with care
- Report any machinery or power tool issues to management
- Work cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goals
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management
- Attend all safety and production trainings
- Follow all written and verbal instructions
- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
- Able to work overtime as needed, including evenings and weekends
- All other duties as requested.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: No education is required; high school diploma is preferred.
Experience: One year minimum of using hand tools. Mechanical experience preferred.
Computer Skills: Basic.

Other Physical Requirements: Employees must wear steel-toed boots, must wear protective eyewear, hearing protection, or any other protective equipment as required by the position. This position may work in outdoors during inclement weather and/or extreme heat.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed primarily in an open building/outdoor setting, in all weather conditions, including temperature extremes, during day and evening shifts. Work is often performed in an urgent manner with stressful situations. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
