Job Description

Senior Product Designer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Designer based in Brazil.

This role sits at the intersection of product innovation and privacy-focused user experience, shaping tools used by millions of people globally. You will lead high-impact design initiatives across core products and emerging features, helping define how users interact with privacy-first technologies in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. The environment is highly autonomous, with strong ownership from discovery through delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn ambiguous problems into elegant, scalable solutions. The role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, requiring both craft excellence and product intuition. You will also contribute to evolving design systems and product direction in a mission-driven, remote-first organization.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead end-to-end design of complex product initiatives, from discovery and ideation through to execution and release.
  • Translate ambiguous user and product problems into clear design directions, prototypes, and high-fidelity solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to define success metrics and delivery outcomes.
  • Conduct and apply qualitative and quantitative research to inform design decisions and validate solutions.
  • Develop clear creative briefs, design rationale, and communication artifacts to align stakeholders.
  • Contribute to product strategy, prioritization discussions, and experimentation frameworks.
  • Maintain and evolve design quality across multiple product surfaces, ensuring consistency and usability at scale.
  • Mentor and support peers, contributing to a culture of craft excellence and design ownership.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in product design, including at least 2+ years in senior-level roles within consumer-facing digital products.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of complex product design work.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across different levels of complexity.
  • Excellent visual and interaction design skills, including prototyping and high-fidelity mockups.
  • Experience working with data-informed design decisions, combining qualitative and quantitative insights.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and rationale.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and turning undefined problems into structured solutions.
  • Experience collaborating closely with engineering and product teams in agile or iterative environments.
  • Nice to have: experience with privacy-focused products, experimentation frameworks, or AI-assisted design workflows.
Benefits:
  • Competitive annual compensation of approximately $178,500 USD, aligned transparently across the organization.
  • Equity package as part of the total compensation structure.
  • Fully remote work with global collaboration across distributed teams.
  • Flexible work arrangements with no core hours and results-driven expectations.
  • Opportunity to work on products used by millions, with a strong focus on privacy and ethical design.
  • Paid parental leave and co-working or home office support (depending on location).
  • Annual in-person company gatherings and team retreats (typically twice per year).
  • Inclusive, mission-driven culture emphasizing autonomy, trust, and ownership.
