We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Janitorial Associate to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across our food production, warehouse, distribution, retail, and office facilities in Courtland and Wakefield, Virginia. This role is essential to food safety, employee health, and facility operations.
This position is ideal for someone who works well independently, follows established cleaning schedules, and takes pride in consistent, detail-oriented work.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
General Cleaning & Sanitation
- Sweep, mop (mop & bucket with soap and water), vacuum, and damp mop floors
- Clean, disinfect, and maintain restrooms, locker rooms, and breakrooms
- Clean toilets, urinals, sinks, stalls, mirrors, and fixtures
- Refill hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, urinal screens, and floor mats
- Empty trash and transport waste to dumpsters
- Clean water fountains
- Remove cobwebs and clean vents as needed
Office & Common Areas
- Clean foyers, hallways, stairwells, and conference rooms
- Wipe down tables, chairs, windowsills, cubicle glass, and horizontal surfaces
(desktop workstations not included) - Clean interior glass and windows as needed
Production & Warehouse Areas (Courtland)
- Operate floor scrubber in production and warehouse areas
- Must be completed after 3:30 PM
- Use approved degreaser
- Empty dirty water after each use
- Perform weekly checks on scrubber components
- Clean plant bathrooms, locker rooms, and breakrooms per schedule
Facility Coverage
- Follow established cleaning schedules for both facilities
- Maintain consistent sanitation standards across all areas
- Identify and report sanitation, safety, or facility concerns
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to stand, bend, walk, and perform physical tasks
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Reliable transportation between Courtland and Wakefield
- Janitorial, sanitation, or facility cleaning experience preferred (not required)

- Food-handling environments
Schedule
- Weekday schedule with set cleaning days by facility
- Some tasks must be completed after production hours (after 3:30 PM)
- No weekend work unless scheduled in advance
