Position Title: Director of Finance
Reports To: CFO, Large Format
Location: Advance Mfg. Co, Inc – Westfield, MA
Full/ Part Time: Full time, exempt
Position Summary:
The Director of Finance will be the site Finance leader and a strategic partner to the Business Unit CFO, General Manager and the senior leadership team, responsible for leading the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes. This role plays a key part in driving business performance by delivering actionable financial insights, conducting deep operational and financial analysis, and supporting key corporate initiatives. The Director of Finance is also expected to manage financial oversight of the company. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a financial business partner to cross-functional teams, supporting initiatives in operations, supply chain, and business development.
- Drive Finance Integration of newly acquired business into parent company financial infrastructure, including harmonizing policies and controls, evaluating and implementing ERP/financial systems, and adopting group-wide best practices.
- Lead the annual budget, rolling forecast, and long-range strategic planning processes in partnership with business unit leaders and senior management.
- Provide detailed and insightful variance analysis on revenue, margins, operational performance, and departmental spending; develop actionable recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Deliver monthly financial reporting packages and operating reviews for senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Drive enhancements to financial systems, reporting tools, and processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Build and lead a high-performing Finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate the financial and strategic impact of customer contracts, new business, capital investments, and growth initiatives; develop financial models and ROI analyses to support decision making.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field; MBA and/or CPA/CFA preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or operational finance roles, preferably within manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis methodologies.
- Advanced experience with Percentage of Completion revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- A decisive individual who possesses a "big picture" perspective and is well versed in BI Tools, and manufacturing ERP systems along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience developing and utilizing financial systems that support companies that have exhibited successful growth path and contributed to increased shareholder value.
- Ability to travel up to 25%
