MRV Banks is looking for an experienced banking professional to join our growing MRV Connect team as a Banking as a Service (BaaS) Compliance Program Coordinator.
This is an opportunity to take the banking knowledge, risk judgment, regulatory experience, and leadership skills you’ve already built and apply them to one of the fastest-evolving areas of banking.
You’ll work alongside Compliance, Relationship Management, Risk, Operations, and our BaaS partners to help oversee compliance requirements, identify and manage risk, support regulatory examinations, and strengthen MRV Connect’s Compliance Management System. Direct BaaS or fintech experience is not required. We’re looking for someone who understands banking, knows how to make sound risk-based decisions, and is excited to learn and grow into greater compliance responsibility.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate compliance workflows, documentation, reporting, and issue tracking
  • Monitor regulatory developments impacting banking, payments, consumer protection, and BaaS programs
  • Work with BaaS partners and internal teams on compliance questions, escalations, due diligence, and ongoing risk assessments
  • Support regulatory examinations, audits, and independent reviews
  • Coordinate documentation requests, findings, corrective actions, and remediation efforts
  • Prepare compliance reports, metrics, and materials for management and committees
  • Assist with developing and maintaining compliance policies, procedures, controls, monitoring, and testing
  • Identify compliance risks and help develop practical, solution-oriented responses
  • Build knowledge and expertise across the BaaS regulatory environment
What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an experienced banking or financial services professional who has worked in a highly regulated area such as lending, underwriting, compliance, risk, audit, operations, or regulatory oversight.

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Have strong banking knowledge and understand the importance of regulatory compliance and risk management
  • Have experience interpreting and applying regulations, policies, procedures, or complex guidelines
  • Are comfortable analyzing information, identifying risk, documenting decisions, and following issues through resolution
  • Can communicate confidently and professionally with employees, leadership, and external partners
  • Know when to ask questions, challenge something that doesn’t look right, and appropriately escalate concerns
  • Enjoy learning and are interested in developing deeper expertise in BaaS compliance
  • Are organized, dependable, solution-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Legal Studies, Criminal Justice, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to interpret regulatory guidance and identify risk.
  • Experience in financial services compliance, payment or fintech (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of applicable banking and payments regulations (preferred).

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Legal Studies, Criminal Justice, or a related field is preferred; equivalent banking or financial services experience will also be considered.

Experience in compliance, BaaS, fintech partnerships, payments, or banking regulations is preferred.
