Community Lead - Kraken Pro
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Community Lead – Kraken Pro based in Brazil.
Join a globally distributed team focused on building meaningful relationships with experienced traders and cryptocurrency enthusiasts.
As Community Lead, you will shape and grow an engaged community around professional trading products and financial technology.
You will participate directly in conversations across Discord, Telegram, X, TradingView, Reddit, and other relevant platforms.
Your mission will be to establish credibility, strengthen relationships with influential traders, and turn community insights into actionable product improvements.
You will lead initiatives such as ambassador programs, live trading sessions, AMAs, product launches, and community competitions.
Working closely with Product and Marketing teams, you will connect community feedback with business priorities while creating authentic, timely, and valuable content.

- Build and grow the trading community: Actively participate in relevant online communities, including Discord, Telegram, X, TradingView, Reddit, and trader-focused groups, establishing credibility through authentic engagement and industry knowledge.
- Manage real-time community communications: Respond quickly and accurately to market developments, product announcements, exchange updates, and other time-sensitive events while maintaining clear and reliable communication.
- Develop ambassador and power-user programs: Build relationships with market makers, quantitative trading professionals, high-volume traders, and other influential users to strengthen engagement, gather candid feedback, and encourage advocacy.
- Lead community initiatives and events: Organize and host AMAs, live trading sessions, product launches, competitions, and post-mortem discussions that encourage participation, build trust, and showcase product capabilities.
- Connect community feedback with Product: Identify user concerns, technical issues, and product opportunities; document evidence and communicate findings to product managers and relevant teams; and follow up with the community on progress and outcomes.
- Create valuable trading content: Write engaging social media threads, explainers on market microstructure, product feature breakdowns, and accessible release notes that resonate with knowledgeable and skeptical audiences.
- Monitor community sentiment and performance: Track sentiment, share of voice, community-driven signups, engagement, and retention among strategically important user segments, using insights to refine community initiatives.
- Manage sensitive conversations: Address criticism, de-escalate conflicts, respond to difficult questions, and communicate transparently during incidents or periods of market volatility.
- Operate with autonomy: Identify opportunities, develop initiatives, and execute quickly in a fast-changing environment while maintaining accuracy, sound judgment, and appropriate communication standards.
- Trading and market knowledge: Demonstrable personal trading experience and a strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, including funding rates, maker/taker fees, slippage, latency, and exchange mechanics.
- Community management experience: At least 3 years of experience managing communities or social channels for products serving technically sophisticated or skeptical audiences, ideally in cryptocurrency, fintech, gaming, or developer tools.
- Strong writing skills: Ability to produce concise, compelling short-form content and detailed long-form material that stands up to scrutiny from experienced traders and industry professionals.
- Community-building expertise: Experience building a community, channel, or engagement program from the ground up rather than simply maintaining an established social media presence.
- Real-time communication: Ability to communicate quickly and accurately during fast-moving market events, balancing responsiveness with factual reliability and sound judgment.
- Conflict resolution and interpersonal skills: Confidence handling public criticism, managing challenging conversations, and de-escalating tensions without relying on overly corporate messaging.
- Analytical capabilities: Ability to interpret community engagement, sentiment, acquisition, and retention metrics and translate findings into measurable improvements.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Experience working with product, marketing, and other stakeholders to communicate user feedback, coordinate initiatives, and improve the customer experience.
- Autonomy and adaptability: A proactive, self-directed approach, with the ability to make informed decisions without constant supervision and adapt to frequent product releases and evolving business priorities.
- Professional judgment: Understanding of when to communicate independently, when to escalate sensitive matters, and how to maintain accuracy and credibility in a fast-paced trading environment.
- Remote work: Fully remote working arrangement, with Brazil among the eligible locations.
- International exposure: Collaborate with a globally distributed team serving traders and cryptocurrency users across multiple markets.
