Sr Revenue Assurance Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr Revenue Assurance Analyst based in the United States.

This role is focused on protecting revenue integrity through detailed financial analysis, account investigation, and risk identification.
You will evaluate customer claims, disputes, contracts, pricing, and financial obligations to ensure accurate outcomes.
With approximately 80% of the role dedicated to Revenue Assurance and 20% to Billing Operations support, you will have broad operational visibility.
Your analysis will help uncover revenue leakage, financial exposure, process gaps, and opportunities for recovery and improvement.
You will work closely with Finance, Billing Operations, Sales, Customer Success, and Legal or Contract Administration teams.
The role combines investigative problem-solving, data analysis, reporting, and process improvement in a remote or hybrid environment.
It is an opportunity to directly influence financial accuracy, customer outcomes, operational controls, and sustainable revenue performance.

Accountabilities
  • Evaluate customer claims, disputes, and account concerns, validating contractual terms, pricing, and financial obligations.
  • Investigate disputed charges, account discrepancies, and complex customer financial issues to determine appropriate resolutions and amounts due.
  • Assess and recommend customer adjustments when warranted, preparing supporting documentation for management review and approval.
  • Analyze customer account activity to identify revenue leakage, financial risk exposures, process deficiencies, and control gaps.
  • Conduct detailed account research and root-cause analysis to resolve recurring issues and improve revenue integrity.
  • Develop and maintain reporting and analytics covering customer disputes, account adjustments, revenue recovery opportunities, revenue risk trends, and operational performance.
  • Partner with Finance and other business stakeholders to support revenue validation, financial controls, and revenue assurance activities.
  • Collaborate with Billing Operations on customer investigations, escalations, billing discrepancies, and complex account issues.
  • Support operational reporting, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives within billing operations.
  • Maintain working knowledge of billing, provisioning, and order-to-cash processes to support operational continuity.
  • Assist with implementing and enhancing billing controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives affecting billing operations and customer financial outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • 3–7 years of experience in Revenue Assurance, Revenue Operations, Customer Financial Operations, Financial Analysis, Contract Administration, Audit, Billing Operations, Business Analysis, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to research complex account activity and financial discrepancies.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret contracts, pricing schedules, amendments, and customer agreements and translate them into financial conclusions.
  • Experience evaluating financial impacts and developing recommendations that support business decision-making.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, lookups, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and consistently deliver against service-level expectations.
  • Experience with revenue assurance, dispute management, account reconciliation, revenue recovery, or financial adjustment processes is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with billing operations and order-to-cash workflows.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Salesforce, ServiceNow, billing platforms, or similar reporting and operational systems is a plus.
  • Experience supporting audit, compliance, risk management, governance, or control-focused activities is beneficial.
  • Experience in data center, colocation, managed services, cloud services, SaaS, technology services, or other recurring-revenue environments is preferred.
  • Knowledge of customer account lifecycle management and revenue management principles is a plus.
Benefits
  • Salary: $60,000–$97,778.29 annually, with final compensation determined by factors such as skills, experience, geographic location, and business requirements.
