CMA/LPN in Pinehurst, North Carolina at FirstHealth of the Carolinas

Appointment scheduling, referrals, check-in/check-out, and answers incoming calls. This position will also help with patient case management, working with LPNs/RNs and the providers onsite. Clinical duties may include taking vital signs, obtaining medical histories, preparing patients for examinations, drawing blood and administering medications as directed by the provider.

Financial/analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written skills. Excellent customer service skills. Extensive knowledge of insurance rules, including reimbursement, third-party payers, pre-certification, ICD-10, and CPT coding. Maintain strict confidentiality of medical, financial, and staff related information. Able to perform several tasks at once in an organized manner.

Must have a valid NC LPN License or CMA Certification. Minimum one year of work experience in a medical clinic or similar environment. Preferred, but not required, Family Medicine work experience.
