The Senior NPI Project Manager plays a critical role in accelerating revenue growth by leading the successful introduction and launch of new products into Creation Technologies' manufacturing operations. Serving as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the New Product Introduction process, this individual will drive NPI programs from initiation through successful production launch while ensuring alignment across Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, and other cross functional teams.

This role requires a highly organized and proactive project leader who can effectively manage multiple priorities, anticipate and resolve challenges, and maintain clear communication with both customers and internal stakeholders. The Senior NPI Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating cross functional activities, managing timelines and deliverables, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring new programs transition efficiently into manufacturing.

The preferred location is Creation Technologies' Dallas, Texas facility, although candidates may also be based at the Albuquerque, New Mexico; Boise, Idaho; or Rochester, New York locations. An onsite presence is preferred due to the highly collaborative and manufacturing focused nature of the position, although a hybrid arrangement may be considered for the right candidate.

Experience within the Aerospace and Defense industry is strongly preferred, particularly experience managing complex NPI programs within an electronics or manufacturing environment. Due to the programs and customers this position may support, candidates must also be able to meet applicable ITAR and export control requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to:

• Develop comprehensive launch strategies, timelines, and cost estimates for high complexity, strategic new product launches to ensure they are executed on schedule, within budget, and with minimized risk.

• Coordinate all NPI deliverables to customers, managing launch activities and associated risks to achieve seamless program execution.

• Facilitate NPI Stage Gate reviews to confirm program readiness, validate key deliverables, and align cross-functional teams with stage objectives.

• Serve as the primary customer liaison to communicate project status, scope changes, and key performance indicators, ensuring transparency and trust throughout the program launch.

• Develop strong customer relationships by anticipating needs, responding quickly to issues, and fostering collaboration.

• Lead customer and senior management meetings to present executive summaries, action plans, and readiness reviews that drive informed decision-making.

• Drive adherence to the LEAP NPI process and champion continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and standardization.

• Strategize with operations and engineering leadership to align priorities, balance resources, and achieve critical program deliverables.

• Present NPI performance updates to executive leadership to support strategic planning and reinforce alignment with business goals.

• Mentor and guide other NPI Project Management team members, as well as deploy training to customer-focused teams to support effective project management and NPI.

• Collaborate with global cross-functional team members to drive problem solving and process improvements.

• Report KPIs and NPI status to site, regional, and executive stakeholders to ensure alignment.

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Required Experience

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in design, operations, management or engineering of various disciplines

• Minimum 6 years electronic assembly experience or equivalent manufacturing experience

• Prior NPI and transfer process experience is a must

• Experience in managing projects using a stag-gate methodology

• Aerospace and Defense, AS9100 experience an asset

• Hands on technical capabilities with strong knowledge of assembly processes

Skills Required

• Strong project management skills, including risk management, schedule development, and the ability to effectively get results from team members located in various sites within a geographical region.

• Results driven and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Excellent problem-solving skills, leadership, and team management capabilities

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization as well as directly with key customer contacts in written, verbal, and presentation form.

• Demonstrated experience with manufacturing best practices such Lean, 5S, Kaizen, etc. is an asset

• Strong computer skills required: Experience in using an ERP or MRP system (Oracle is preferred), Project Management software, Excel, and Word.

• Project Management Professional Certification preferred.

In accordance with pay transparency regulations, the anticipated starting salary for this position ranges from $120-$140k USD annually. Full-time employees are also eligible for performance-based bonuses and a range of benefits. Please note that this salary range is not guaranteed, and the final offer may vary based on experience, education, location, and shift. Additionally, the benefits and programs available may differ depending on the hire date, schedule type, and hours worked.
